Grants and opportunities

Today the NSP FCT fund highest priority is to provide research and entrepreneurship grants to NSP members in order to advance evidence based practice and to build a cadre of practitioner scholars. The Fund annually awards up to 300,000 in grant funding for relevant research that will continue to build our body of knowledge. The goal of the Fund is to eventually provide two grants per year at 300,000 each.

To be eligible to apply for a grant, the applicants must be a member of the NSP FCT Chapter. The project must relevant to physiotherapy. Proposals must fall into one of the categories to be accepted: Tech Start Up, Physiotherapy private practice clinic, Clinical Validation; Health Services Research; Educational Research; Translational Research, or Basic Research. The goal of the Fund is to award grants to emerging researchers, and entrepreneurs but proposals from all levels will be considered.
